For example, you might want to keep your vehicle with you until after your household possessions have been shipped, and move the car afterwards, or send it ahead of time so that it awaits your arrival in the new city;
• In some circumstances we might ship your car inside one of our moving vans;
• Or, larger vehicles like trucks, campers or boats may be secured on a flatdeck truck.

We have experience in moving all sorts of vehicles, including farm equipment, and are able to assess the best way to ship your vehicle.

There are established criteria for moving cars, they should be:

• Clean, to allow a proper inspection at load time,
• Not full of fuel, but some fuel is needed for loading and off-loading your vehicle;
• Empty of loose objects, to avoid the possibility of damage to the vehicle by these things moving around inside during transport, and
• Licensed, so that regular auto coverage will apply in the event of a mishap.

On occasion we transport vehicles that are partially restored, and therefore unlicensed. In this case we advise that you provide extra coverage to protect your investment during relocation.

If you own a classic car, or other high value vehicle, you should get an appraisal and special coverage to ensure that in the case of an unfortunate accident, your investment is protected. Other vehicles will be covered at book value for their model and year.
